Facility construction
Trades and supervision for the structural, architectural and fit-out phases of fab and cleanroom construction.
Industries
Our principal focus is on two of the most technically demanding types of facility being built today.
Principal industry
Semiconductor fabrication facilities are among the most technically demanding environments to build. Cleanroom standards, complex process utilities and strict quality requirements call for personnel who can work with precision and discipline.
Trades and supervision for the structural, architectural and fit-out phases of fab and cleanroom construction.
Process piping, ultra-pure water, specialty gases, exhaust and HVAC systems that support the fab environment.
Power distribution, cabling and controls for production tools and critical facility systems.
Systematic testing and commissioning of utilities and facility systems ahead of tool installation and handover.
Central utility buildings, chilled water, compressed air, and the supporting infrastructure a fab relies on.
QA/QC inspection, cleanliness protocols and documentation to meet stringent project specifications.
Principal industry
Data centres demand resilient mechanical and electrical infrastructure delivered to tight programmes. Every phase, from shell and core to integrated systems testing, depends on competent, well-coordinated site teams.
Trades and site management for the build and fit-out of data halls and supporting spaces.
Medium and low voltage distribution, UPS, generators, busways and cabling for critical power.
Cooling systems, chilled water, CRAH/CRAC units and pipework that keep critical loads within limits.
Coordinated mechanical, electrical and plumbing installation across the facility.
Staged commissioning through to integrated systems testing to prove the facility performs as designed.
Document control, planning support and QA/QC to keep fast-track projects organised.
Workforce expertise
Many technicians, engineers and supervisors have built their careers in oil and gas and other heavy industrial environments. The skills developed there can be highly relevant to the demands of semiconductor and data centre construction.
Familiarity with permit-to-work systems, risk assessment and working in high-hazard environments.
Experience with complex pipework, pressure systems and rotating equipment.
Background in industrial power, instrumentation and control systems.
Structured, documented approaches to pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover.
Working to rigorous specifications, inspection regimes and traceable records.
Adaptability to remote sites, shift work and large, multi-contractor projects.
Oil and gas experience is highlighted here as a source of transferable skills within our workforce. Our principal client focus remains semiconductor and data centre projects.
